After their romantic beach engagement session at Kent Island, now comes the wedding. π
Introducing the beautiful bride, Junelyn.
But let’s rewind a bit to the beginning of the day. π
After Nicole and Kirk’s engagement photo session at Baltimore last year, here comes the wedding.
The wedding was at Padonia Park Club, at the Towson and Timonium-Cockeysville area, just north of Baltimore.
Here are some of my favorite shots. π
But let’s go back to the beginning of the day, when they were getting ready.
Absolutely beautiful. These pictures take me back to the weddung day. I love it.
AWWW so Pretty!
I actually found Don Giannatti’s workshop site by accident. I was trying to find a certain lighting technique and was pointed to his site by Google.Β I read about his workshop and became interested.Β I had been to few lighting workshops/seminars but Don’s was more in-depth, two-days, and priced reasonably. Not to mention that there was one workshop that was nearby, Baltimore. π
I found out later that the one in Baltimore was the advanced workshop.Β I could still do it, but I really wanted to learn about the different strobes and modifiers, and how they would affect the lighting quality. Fortunately, Don was kind enough to give me and few others a “catch-up” session the day before. So it was more like a three-day workshop for me.
Here’s one image I took on the last day. We used 5 speedlights on this setup.
Leo,
glad you liked the workshop. Great images here.
Hey Leo,
Nice images! was great to meet you at the workshop!

Hello Leo,
I am interested in attending Don’s workshop. Did you already know how to setup the lights for all of these shots or were you shown the concept and then set it up on your own? I am very interested in lighting. Everything I read about photography and good pictures has me convinced that lighting is the key. Its all about the light.
Thanks
Keith
Thanks Leo!
Here’s the second part from Brittany and Dan’s wedding, the reception and photo session with the bridal and groom party.
These are amazing, Leo. You captured Brittany and Dan and their bridal party perfect. We will cherish these pics for years to come. I can’t wait to see the wedding album. Thank you and I will highly reccommend you to everyone I know! Martha (Mother of the Bride). π
After Brittany and Dan’s engagement photo session on Kent Island, now comes the wedding. π
Their wedding was mid May (last month) and the ceremony was at Kent Island Methodist Church (KIUMC).
Here’s the beautiful bride, Brittany. π
Isn’t she beautiful? π
Anyway, let’s go back a bit to the beginning of the day.
Pictures are fantastic. It appears that it was a fun wedding from the beginning. Martha you look great — all grown up (ha ha). So sorry we had to miss it. Thanks for sharing.
What great pictures; I was there, and have to say it was it was probably the warmest & most fun wedding I’ve ever attended. These pictures capture it all; good job!
Hugs to all,
Barb
The pictures are wonderful – and beautiful! Can’t wait to see the rest. God Bless!
Cousin Michele
Great photos! Awesome couple! Wonderful bridesmaids and groomsmen! Has a great time at the reception, too. Looking forward to the next installment of pictures.
Love to all,
Janet
Here’s my first wedding for 2010, which was in late January. The weather wasn’t too bad for a winter wedding, as you can see from their clothing.
The ceremony was at Hope Fellowship Church, Chestertown, MD.
Here’s the bride and groom, Aaron and Justin, exiting the church and greeted by the guests with bubbles. π
when you can capture the truest expression of happiness, especially as shown in the bride’s beautiful smiles coming out of her heart, the result is a priceless treasure.
This was my second photo session on that same day in December 2009. Luckily, the weather was warm enough that afternoon, so we didn’t need to use bulky jackets or overcoats. π
Holli and Mike found me through Google. They liked the idea of doing engagement session with urban or city background since their wedding would be on a different theme. They agreed to do the pre-wedding photo session at Annapolis downtown harbor.
Here are some of my favorite images.
Moving on to December 2009. π
Ali and Nic found me through WeddingWire. They like the pre-wedding photo session with urban scenery setting I did with Brianne and Jeremy.
If I remember correctly, they originally wanted to do the engagement session at Georgetown, Washington DC. However, I offered them to do it at Annapolis downtown and Eastport. They liked the idea since not only they would be getting a city setting, but they would also have the harbor or water in the background as well.
I was already booked that afternoon for another engagement session, so I offered them to do it early in the morning. Although, the temperature was quite pleasant in the afternoon, it was still pretty chilly in the morning. Well it was December. π
Anyway, here are some of my favorite shots.
timeless photos … I am sure they will be treasured
Here is the third photo session on the same day. You can see the other two session below this post.
It was a beautiful day on November, sunny and very warm. Pretty unusual for that time of the season. That’s why I got three bookings on the same day. π It was also the reason that the park where we went to do the engagement session was crowded, which was also unusual for that late in the year. The pre-wedding portrait session was at Federal Hill Park in Baltimore city.
I had never been there before, so that was my first time ever. It sure was a nice park on an elevated part of the city. You can see the surrounding areas including the Raven’s football stadium and the Baltimore harbor.
Here are a few of my favorite images from Nicole and Kirk’s e-session.
