Raisa and Michael are another couple that also met through work. However, it’s not the typical place like a corporate office like you might think. They met in the Army. š
As you know, if you’re in the military, you will move around a lot. However, they wanted to do the engagement photo session in Maryland, because it is where they met, became friends, and fell in love. š
They finally picked Brookside Gardens to do the pre-wedding pictures.

After the engagement session at Glen Echo Park, I then had the privilege of covering Denise and Rich’s wedding at Mariott Aspen Wye River Conference Center at Queenstown, Eastern Shore, Maryland.
It is a beautiful waterfront site, or I should say, historic estate.
Let’s go back a bit to the beginning of the day…
After I did Amanda and Eric’s family photo session on the Eastern Shore, I finally had the honor to photograph their wedding at Turf Valley, Ellicott City, MD this summer.
It was super hot that day, and if I remembered correctly, the heat index was in the triple digits. Of course it didn’t stop us from doing what we want to do. We just had to find a way around few things. The good thing was that the ceremony and reception were inside. The outdoor photo session had to be done later during the reception closer to sunset, instead of right after the ceremony. Even though it was close to sunset, it was still really hot! We were sweating like crazy.
Anyway, let’s check out what happened earlier in the day.
After the engagement photo session, I had the honor to do their wedding this summer at Shade Trees and Evergreens in Frederick, Maryland. It was a hot day, but we all had fun.

Kelly was a senior from Kent Island High School. She loved to play volleyball and even supported the school’s volleyball team. Kelly also loved almost anything that had to do with water sports like swimming, boating, tubing, and crabbing… oh wait…
Well anyway, Kelly wanted to do the senior photo session months ago. Unfortunately, it was just about a couple of months away from her graduation, and of course all seniors were really busy at the time. Still, she really wanted to do the photo session and have her pictures at this stage of her life immortalized. So we did the session in Summer, after everything winded down a bit.

But let’s rewind a bit to the beginning of the day.
Melissa and Matt met each other online. Then they decided to meet each other in person. Apparently they clicked, and later they took their relationship to the next level. The guy proposed, and the girl said, “Yes”. š

Mariely and Tim met the first time at work.Ā After Tim got to know Mariely, he knew that she was the one for him. Then they dated for a while, and finally a few months ago Tim asked the question, and Mariely said, “Yes”. š

After Kaycee and Don’s engagement session at a fruit farm, I finally had the honor to cover their wedding in DC and Virginia.

Erin and Robbie met each other through a common friend, who was Erin’s friend since she was little. Robbie met him later, and through him met Erin. Then they fell in love. š
Robbie and Erin wanted to do their engagement photo session at Annapolis downtown because it has a special meaning to them. They had their first kiss there and they like to hang out there as well.
