Kelly was a senior from Kent Island High School. She loved to play volleyball and even supported the school’s volleyball team. Kelly also loved almost anything that had to do with water sports like swimming, boating, tubing, and crabbing… oh wait…
Well anyway, Kelly wanted to do the senior photo session months ago. Unfortunately, it was just about a couple of months away from her graduation, and of course all seniors were really busy at the time. Still, she really wanted to do the photo session and have her pictures at this stage of her life immortalized. So we did the session in Summer, after everything winded down a bit.
Here are some of my favorites.

After Shannon and Brent’s engagement photo session at Baltimore, I got the honor to cover their wedding at the prestigious venue on Maryland’s Eastern Shore at Kent Island, Chesapeake Bay Beach Club.
Here is the bride and groom during the romantic photo session with the beautiful background view of the Chesapeake Bay and the Bay Bridge during sunset.

But let’s rewind a bit to the beginning of the day.

Introducing the Skrincosky family.
The Skrincoskys wanted a family portrait before their son got bigger. They wanted to have a memory this stage of their son, of the family, done professionally. So they asked me whether I could do it before summer. Luckily I had a couple of spots left to do their session during this busy wedding season.
We were blessed with a good weather that day. It was a bit hot, but at least it wasn’t raining like the day before. The only problem doing the session on the beach was the bugs. Yes, there were quite a lot of them. But you wouldn’t see it here, and couldn’t tell by looking at these happy pictures if I hadn’t told you.
Well it’s my job to make my clients look great.
Anyway, here are some of my favorites.

Here is Mindy and her horse pet, Lemon.
Mindy and I have been wanting to do a photo session for over a year (I think), but never got a chance until just recently. Thank goodness for the great weather for that day on autumn. Not to mention I just love the foliage colors in Fall. So the timing was actually perfect.
Lemon was 6 years old, which Mindy told me that’s about teenager for horse’s age. Lemon used to be a race horse and raced at Penn National. Mindy got her after she was retired from racing due to injury. Bless Mindy’s heart.

Sam’s Mom wanted a picture of her daughter, Sam, and Sam’s half sister, Jackie with summer outfits. She wanted the children photo session before the leaves turned color. Well, it was officially already Fall about two weeks ago. But guess what. She got her wish! The weather became hot again that day for the photo shoot. If I remember correctly the temperature was in the low 90s or upper 80s.
Here are some of my favorites from the photo session.
Here is Sam…

I get a sudden last minute influx of clients wanting to do all kinds of photo sessions for this September and October for wedding, engagement, children, commercial, and family. I’ve been so overwhelmed, but it’s all good of course.
Anyway, here’s a candid family session of the Norris family at Eastern Shore, Maryland, Kent Island.
I’ve known them for a while because my son and theirs go to the same school and like to play together.

Just few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of doing an engagement session for an awesome couple Lisa and Pat. Originally, we wanted to do it at St. Michaels. However, due to weather and time limitation we decided to do it on Kent Island. It actually was the best for us since we don’t have to drive far.
I had met Lisa before, during the client meeting. However, this was my first time meeting Pat. He was very friendly and also hilarious. He likes to goof around sometimes. I was really comfortable and relaxed directing them throughout the photo session.
Anyway, here are some of my favorite images:

BTW, don’t you think Lisa has really gorgeous eyes?

The Riggins family would be the first family in my neighborhood or even my community that asked me to have their family portrait done professionally. They’re also the first family to ask me to do a maternity session. I’m happy and honored that they trusted me to do this.
So here are some of my favorite images from the session we did at Kent Island, Maryland.

Amy and Mark was married in Mexico, but they wanted to have the post-wedding reception here in Maryland. So they picked this great place on Kent Island, at the Cove Creek Country Club.
It was super hot that day. I believe the temperature was 103 degrees. Phew…
Luckily everyone get to wear semi casual clothing. It was my first time doing a wedding using a short and a sandal.
