Kelly was a senior from Kent Island High School. She loved to play volleyball and even supported the school’s volleyball team. Kelly also loved almost anything that had to do with water sports like swimming, boating, tubing, and crabbing… oh wait…
Well anyway, Kelly wanted to do the senior photo session months ago. Unfortunately, it was just about a couple of months away from her graduation, and of course all seniors were really busy at the time. Still, she really wanted to do the photo session and have her pictures at this stage of her life immortalized. So we did the session in Summer, after everything winded down a bit.
Here are some of my favorites.

Introducing the Skrincosky family.
The Skrincoskys wanted a family portrait before their son got bigger. They wanted to have a memory this stage of their son, of the family, done professionally. So they asked me whether I could do it before summer. Luckily I had a couple of spots left to do their session during this busy wedding season.
We were blessed with a good weather that day. It was a bit hot, but at least it wasn’t raining like the day before. The only problem doing the session on the beach was the bugs. Yes, there were quite a lot of them. But you wouldn’t see it here, and couldn’t tell by looking at these happy pictures if I hadn’t told you.
Well it’s my job to make my clients look great.
Anyway, here are some of my favorites.

Jennifer and Ryan met the first time during high school years at a drive thru at a fast food restaurant. Hint: it’s not a burger nor chicken restaurant.
Then they went to college together.
Finally in Spring this year, Ryan proposed to Jennifer during fireworks at Disney World. It sure seemed like a magical moment! Way totally different than the drive thru
This engaged couple share a lot of common interests. They love the water and seafood. They especially love a particular seafood which you’ll see from the pictures below.

Just few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of doing an engagement session for an awesome couple Lisa and Pat. Originally, we wanted to do it at St. Michaels. However, due to weather and time limitation we decided to do it on Kent Island. It actually was the best for us since we don’t have to drive far.
I had met Lisa before, during the client meeting. However, this was my first time meeting Pat. He was very friendly and also hilarious. He likes to goof around sometimes. I was really comfortable and relaxed directing them throughout the photo session.
Anyway, here are some of my favorite images:

BTW, don’t you think Lisa has really gorgeous eyes?

The Riggins family would be the first family in my neighborhood or even my community that asked me to have their family portrait done professionally. They’re also the first family to ask me to do a maternity session. I’m happy and honored that they trusted me to do this.
So here are some of my favorite images from the session we did at Kent Island, Maryland.

Amy and Mark was married in Mexico, but they wanted to have the post-wedding reception here in Maryland. So they picked this great place on Kent Island, at the Cove Creek Country Club.
It was super hot that day. I believe the temperature was 103 degrees. Phew…
Luckily everyone get to wear semi casual clothing. It was my first time doing a wedding using a short and a sandal.

OK. After going off the beaten path of trying to post in chronological order by posting recent works, now I’m back on track continuing from where I left off, the family portrait session from last November.
Only about a month after I did my commercial work for the Crazy Chick Salon, I got a call from Adele. She was referred to me by Becky, the owner of the salon. Adele said that I was highly recommended. That made me smile from ear to ear.
Adele wanted a few portraits of her in a natural setting, not studio, for her Web site and her book “The Legend of the Seahawk”. She wanted to have the images as soon as possible. We had agreed to a shoot date. However, because of the weather, it had to be postponed to another date in November. I already had another client on that day for an engagement session. Fortunately, it was in the afternoon. So I was able to do the session with Adele very early in the morning to get the morning sunlight.
Here are some of my favorite images.

Junelyn and Brad saw my portfolio on my site last year. They instantly fell in love with my style, did not want to look at any other wedding photographers, and decided to book me right away. It was love at first sight.
Don’t you just fell in love with these kind of clients? Well I sure did…
They made me jump and said, “Yes!!”
They decided to do the engagement session this Spring. We were blessed to get such a perfect warm weather that afternoon. Although, it was a quite a struggle for them to get to the Eastern Shore. It took few hours for them to get here because it was during a weekday, Tuesday, and it was rush hour. Surprisingly there was a long backup at Annapolis and at the Bay Bridge too, which is not very common on a Spring weekday. Probably because it was still a spring break for few schools and probably lots of families decided to go to the beach.
Anyway, when Junelyn and Brad got here, the loved the beautiful and peaceful place and said that it made them forgot about the bad traffic they had. It was totally worth the drive for them.
I was actually sick on that day, although I was much better than the two days before, but I already made a promise. I also thought that there may not be another chance for a perfect weather where both of them can get a day off from work, so I forced myself to do it. It was worth it for me as well, as you can see from these images below.

This is my first full session of high school senior portrait. Well sort of…
Marissa supposed to graduate this year along with her other classmates. However, she graduated a year early, and is now in college. Way to go Marissa!
Nevertheless, she wanted to do this senior photo session anyway. I’m honored to have her as my first.
I knew Marissa through Facebook through other friends, and she is one of the most nicest/politest person in FB. I think Marissa is a beautiful person not only on the outside, but also inside.
