During their engagement session at Quiet Waters Park, Annapolis, Maryland, I was glad to discover that Lindsey and John are truly an amusing and happy-go-lucky couple. Both are enthusiastic and willingly went through all the arduous locations or experimented with various poses. We then ventured on several ideas for their wedding pictures, some of which I am very thrilled to present here.
Lindsey and John fell in love with the beautiful Eastern Shore views from the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. Since the majority of their wedding guests would be from out of town, the couple wanted to show them some of the most scenic spectacles of Maryland. As the Chesapeake Bay is truly iconic and beautiful, it had to play a role in their wedding. Ironically, the weather didn’t cooperate and they didn’t get to have those amazing views they had planned on. Nevertheless, the rain stopped after the wedding ceremony and the guests finally had a chance to wander outdoor and experience the Bay on their own.
In this wedding occasion, I had the honor of working together with Lauren Niles, who assisted with the room layout, floral placement and petite decor items. She was also the coordinator on the day of the wedding.
Love the soft but striking pastel color palette chosen by Lindsey and John, and arranged by My Flower Box Events with the final setting by Lauren.
Lauren designed and made the table number assignments board, but the Bride’s sister – who was also the maid of honor – was actually the one who wrote on all the capiz shells.
Watch the following sequence on how the Father of the Bride met his daughter Lindsey for the first time in all her wedding regalia.
And now, the First Look between the Bride and the Groom.
I just love the unique backdrop necklace Lindsey was wearing. A beautiful piece with a classic vintage look, something quite rare to find in weddings.
Also adore the centerpiece design of the head table where the Bride, Groom and their wedding party were sitting, with its structural arrays of elegant flower vases.
The wedding ceremony was supposed to be held outside, but due to the unpleasant weather and heavy rain, everything was moved indoor. Nonetheless, the excellent workmanship of all teams from CBBC, Lauren Niles, My Flower Box Events and Event Dynamics transformed The Tavern ballroom into a magnificent setting.
Although the couple had their first glance earlier, John was evidently still very fascinated upon seeing his Bride, Lindsey, walking down the aisle escorted by the Father of the Bride.
The officiant, Rev. Tim Mulosmanaj from Ceremony Officiants, explained to everyone why the fourth finger is chosen as the ring finger.
The stylish Groom with his Best Man and Groomsman.
The lovely Bride with his Groom, Maid of Honor and Bridesmaids.
We were fortunate to finally had a little break in the stormy weather, which finally ended when it was still daylight. Although we didn’t have much time, we got a chance to take some pictures outside with interesting clouds.
The table numbers, programs and menu cards were all designed by Lauren and printed by Cink Art.
The two-tier wedding cake and colorful cupcakes were from Cakes by Rachael, complete with its “love” cake topper. And a lovely personal touch from the Bride and Groom, the pastel cake stand.
During the first dance, John and Lindsey did a beautifully choreographed dance.
Would you like to find out how these two met? Check out their story which was featured in their engagement photo set at Annapolis.
The Onyx Band gave such a stellar and uplifting performances that everyone was moved to dancing and grooving along.
Yeah, check out this ring, guys… Bam!
Congratulations Lindsey and John!
May you live happily ever after! 🙂
