After the super adorable engagement photo session in downtown Annapolis and Eastport, I am so excited to finally be able to feature Shannon and Matt’s beautiful wedding at the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center.
Matt and Shannon wanted an outdoor wedding surrounded by the beauty of the Chesapeake Bay, followed by a unique reception in a venue styled with the Bride and Groom’s personal touch-ups. This place was the perfect choice for them.
It was on this gorgeous day, blessed with the perfect weather, that Shannon and Matt began their lifetime journey together.
The exquisite wedding gown with beautiful lace details from Anjolique.
Lovely different shades of rose petals for the flower girls.
Three different hues for the lovely flower girls’ dresses as well.
Apparently Rylee was so into the moment that she shed tears during the wedding vows.
The Bride’s lovely bouquet of dark and light pink peonies, succulents, protea, hypericum berries, and peach dahlias was designed by the florist Magnolia Floral Design.
Peonies and gerberas were seen all around as ravishing table centerpieces.
For the introductory of the flower girls followed by the Bride and Groom, the DJ played a fun song from James Brown – I Got You (I Feel Good).
The song for their romantic first dance was Christina Perri’s A Thousand Years, which brought tears to many people in the room. If I was not engaged in capturing tender moments of the Bride and Groom’s first dance, I would be one of them too.
Matt and Shannon decided not to have any wedding cake and skipped the cake cutting tradition. Since both of them are ice cream lovers, instead, they opted for an ice cream bar from Scottish Highland Creamery Sundae Bar. It was a huge treat for everyone, and it was one of the best ice cream I’ve ever tasted.
The rest of the evening was all about dancing and fun-filled time for everyone!
At the end of the memorable night, the Bride and Groom had a grand exit by going through a row of guests holding sparklers.
Congratulations, Shannon and Matt!
May your family live happily ever after! 🙂
