Though they didn&#8217;t meet until summer of 2009, they sort\u00a0of knew one\u00a0another since both were Indonesians and shared\u00a0the same mutual friends. Nita used to\u00a0go to a small Christian school in central VA for college, while\u00a0Leo went to Virginia Tech. Whenever he drove from DC to VTech, he had to pass her\u00a0school and he used to make jokes of it\u00a0by\u00a0saying,&#8221;Who will go to that school?&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>After their initial meeting, they\u00a0didn&#8217;t reminisce\u00a0again until early 2010, when they\u00a0started to hang out quite a bit\u00a0since both\u00a0lived close by, but\u00a0without\u00a0any\u00a0intention to date each other. Yet from friendship, their\u00a0feelings grew for each other and they decided to start dating in September 2010.<\/p>\n<p>Late last year, the couple\u00a0were heading\u00a0to Tysons Corner to catch a movie. Halfway through, Leo suddenly turned to a jewelry store across the street from the mall and asked Nita\u00a0to choose\u00a0any ring she\u00a0favored as an engagement token.
