Here’s the second part of Naomi and Dhimas’ wedding, the reception, which is usually the fun part 🙂
As usual, the family members, groom party, and bridal party line up to get introduced to the guests. Here’s Nindya, Dhimas’ niece, in her Balinese dance costume, waiting for her turn to enter the ballroom.
A traditional symbol gift for the bride and groom. This is kain ulos, custom made for the couple, from Batak, Indonesia.
Nindya performing tari tenun (weaving dance).
Naomi and Dhimas had to play some games to entertain the guests.
Look! Dhimas can dance! Who knew? 😀
Yup, he had to perform in front of his wife, and of course before hundreds of guests, shaking his booty in tune with Sir Mix-a-Lot’s “Baby Got Back” a.k.a. “I Like Big Butts”. 😀
Dhimas was wearing bathroom tissue paper which Naomi had to put on as his “wedding dress”. As you can see, it’s ruined because Dhimas did some aggressive moves.
Pop the balloon to get the message inside! 🙂
The first dance…
Look at that enormous bling!
Just kidding. It’s actually a toy engagement ring Naomi had to wear from the games session.
The electric slide… 🙂
(or poco-poco for the Indonesians)
There’s always one or few people who has too much energy when it comes to dance at parties.
Andre is one of them.
And Chris… 🙂
And those crazy guys made Sarah laugh real hard. I’ve never seen Sarah laugh like this. :p
How low can you go?
Congratulations Naomi and Dhimas.
Best of luck in your next journey! 🙂
