Jessica and Juan knew each other since high school, but weren’t really together until almost 2 years ago. Juan was in MCRD San Diego training Recruits to be Future Marines. Jessica was in Maryland. So they had a long distance relationship for 1.5 years. Jessica had to travel a lot to meet Juan, sometimes for just a few short hours during the whole trip. However, it means the world to both of them to be able to see each other, face to face, and not just hearing voice or seeing video image on Skype.
This was why they wanted to do the engagement session at Reagan National Airport in Washington DC. Traveling had been a big part of their relationship.
But let’s start from the beginning of the session where Juan was wearing his military uniform. 🙂
We originally wanted to do the session by the Tidal Basin for the cherry blossom trees, but of course it was super crowded that day because the flowers were at their peak of blooming time. So we went to do the session around the Smithsonian museums instead.
There are beautiful blooming trees in other parts as well. 🙂
Anyway, check out this little story.. 🙂
“Whoa… that girl is really hot…”
“Hello there… what’s your name?”
“You’re so beautiful… May I please kiss your beautiful lips? :)”
“Aww… you made me blush… :)”
And that’s the story… 🙂
By the way, there were a few tourists that came up to Juan, wanted to take picture with him. He was like a celebrity. Haha.. 😀
Then we went to the airport. 🙂
After the session, they took me to lunch.
Thank you so much for the treat, guys… 🙂
Congratulations on your engagement and upcoming wedding. 🙂
Unfortunately, I won’t be their wedding photographer. They will be getting married in Italy and the photographer was already part of the package with the venue and everything. But either way, I’m happy for them. They are one of the most awesome and nice couple I’ve ever met. 🙂
