You may remember the engagement session of a couple who likes sailing. Well now the couple, Joanne and Chuck, have sailed away into a different chapter in their life. A chapter that they will write together as a married couple.
But let’s go back to the beginning of the day…
Here is the bagpiper that provided some music during the ceremony.
Here are the groom and the guys getting ready.
Well… not too much going on there. π
So let’s see what’s going on with the bride and the girls.
And the girls are ready! π
Here’s the groom, Chuck, anxiously waiting for his bride, Joanne.
Chuck was so happy to see Joanne. π
When Father Jennings explained to the congregation that these two candles represented Joanne and Chuck’s fathers who passed away, I choked and almost shed a tear. π
From St. Christoper’s Church, everyone headed to the Prospect Bay Country Club for the wedding reception.
The bride and groom’s first dance as a husband and wife. π
Then it’s the mother of the groom and son dance… π
A toast from the best man to the great bride and groom!
Blessings before the dinner.
Check out the cute wedding cake topping!
The live band by Dan Haas and his crew that played the bride and groom’s favorite songs during the reception.
That night coincides with the Baltimore Ravens and the Pittsburgh SteelersΒ AFC divisional playoff game. Most of the guests and family are huge fan of the Steelers. Some of them watched the game from a TV in a bar just in the next room.
Introducing, the bride, the maid of honor and the bridesmaids.
Next are the groom, the best man and the groomsmen. π
Looks like Chuck found something… π
Here it is… π
Joanne and Chuck singing along to one of their favorite song. π
And they both danced the night away.
Congratulations Joanne and Chuck. May you live happily ever after. π
