After Erin and Robbie’s engagement session at Annapolis downtown<\/a>, I finally had the honor to document their gorgeous wedding at the beautiful historic venue, Governor Calvert House, which was also in downtown Annapolis.<\/p>\n

Here is one of my favorite shot during the romantic photo session.<\/p>\n\"Bride\n

Now let’s rewind a bit to the beginning of the day, during the getting ready.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The best man is helping the groom getting ready, putting on the boutonniere.<\/p>\n\"\"\n\"\"\n\"\"\n

The bridesmaids and the flower girl were checking out the guests. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\"\"\n\"\"\n

The bride walking down the isle escorted by her father…<\/p>\n\"\"\n

and meeting the groom for the first time in her wedding dress. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\"\"\n\"\"\n

Mazel tov!<\/p>\n\"\"\n\"\"\n\"\"\n

You may kiss the bride… \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\"\"\n

Erin had a locket on her flower bouquet with a picture of her and her late grandfather.<\/p>\n\"\"\n

After the ceremony, the bride, groom, bridal party, parents and grandparents went to the trolley to go to Annapolis downtown harbor for the photo session.<\/p>\n\"\"\n\"\"\n

They just got married! Yay! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\"\"\n

The groom with his best men (yes, there were two of them) and groomsmen.<\/p>\n\"\"\n\"\"\n

Erin’s beautiful white rose flower bouquet.<\/p>\n\"\"\n

When we were at the downtown harbor, we saw several news vans covering the upcoming Hurricane Irene. Then a news anchor from NBC 4 channel Washington DC approached us and asked if the bride and groom would be interested in being interviewed and featured live on TV. Erin and Robbie was interested.<\/p>\n\"\"\n

I remember vaguely that the news anchor said, “It is refreshing that during this panic of the upcoming hurricane, there is a happy story, a wedding in the midst of all these.”<\/p>\n\"\"\n\"\"\n

Yup. A happy story indeed. We were all lucky to dodge the bullet. Irene didn’t really start to hit Maryland until the following morning. However, winds were already picking up that night and several coastal areas in Maryland had mandatory evacuation.<\/p>\n\"\"\n

The beautiful bride with her matron of honor and the bridesmaids.<\/p>\n\"\"\n\"\"\n

Then we all went into the trolley again to go back to the venue.<\/p>\n\"\"\n\"\"\n\"\"\n\"\"\n\"\"\n

Their beautiful and delicious wedding cake. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\"\"\n\"\"\n

After the parents, bridal party, and finally the bride and groom was introduced, Robbie and Erin danced the first time as a husband and wife.<\/p>\n\"\"\n\"\"\n\"\"\n

Next was the speeches and toasts from the Maid of Honor, which happens to be Erin’s sister, and the two Best Men (Robbie’s best friends).<\/p>\n\"\"\n\"\"\n\"\"\n\"\"\n\"\"\n

Noah eats his chicken nuggets and fries by dipping them in the ice water. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n\"\"\n\"\"\n\"\"\n\"\"\n\"\"\n\"\"\n

Everyone was to wear the arm bands which previously served as the napkin wrapper as well. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\"\"\n

A welcome speech from the father of the bride.<\/p>\n\"\"\n\"\"\n

Next was the father and daughter dance.<\/p>\n\"\"\n\"\"\n\"\"\n

Suddenly the DJ seems to “messed up the” song, and then an upbeat dance song was played. Kurt immediately took of his jacket and threw it on the floor…<\/p>\n\"\"\n

Then both Erin and Kurt danced to “Crank That” by Soulja Boy. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n\"\"\n

Everyone was so surprised. Even Robbie didn’t know about the surprise dance. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n\"\"\n\"\"\n

Back to slow dance again.<\/p>\n\"\"\n

Then back to “Crank That” again…
\nThis time Robbie joined them for a bit. \ud83d\ude00
\n“Now watch me youuu!… Now watch me youu!…”<\/p>\n\"\"\n

Next was the mother of the groom and son dance.<\/p>\n\"\"\n

Then it was dance time for everyone!<\/p>\n\"\"\n\"\"\n

Cake cutting time. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\"\"\n\"\"\n\"\"\n\"\"\n

Garter and bouquet toss time… \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\"\"\n\"\"\n\"\"\n\"\"\n\"\"\n\"\"\n\"\"\n

Later that evening, the boys went out to the terrace to smoke cigars.<\/p>\n\"\"\n\"\"\n\"\"\n\"\"\n\"\"\n\"\"\n\"\"\n\"\"\n\"\"\n

Below, Robbie and Erin were in a unique room with a glass floor. When the house was acquired to become a large inn, during a restoration expansion they unearthed this archeological feature of the original building. Instead of covering or destroying them to build a new floor, they decided to preserve it and put a glass floor on top of it and have lights underneath so that visitors could see the structure. What a great idea! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\"\"\n
