Chelsea and Michael have known each other for a long time. Michael have been best friend with Chelsea’s brother since they were little. The bond between the two became stronger, so they dated and finally decided to take it to the next level.
Michael proposed Chelsea at this place on Kent Island. It was a cold and drizzly day, but it didn’t stopped Michael from what he had planned. In the end it’s all worth it, because Chelsea said, “Yes”.
It always warms my heart to know a love relationship that started from a friendship.

Morgan and Jay met each other through work. They are both golf instructors, travel a lot, and would meet in California and Florida every season. However, Morgan’s hometown is in Maryland, and Jay is in New York. Obviously, they would have to travel a lot to meet each other if they’re not in California or Florida together. They use the train a lot to travel between the two places. This is why they wanted to do their engagement photo session at Penn Station, Baltimore. This historic building is an important part of their relationship.

This was one of the few rare occasions where I was hired to photograph an engagement proposal. I was so happy and felt very honored to be a part of this important milestone in their relationship.
Eddie had planned this event months ahead with the ring and everything. After everything were in it’s right place including the restaurant, he then booked me. It was just a few days before the event, but luckily I was available.
The event took place at Restaurant Michel, which was in Ritz-Carlton Hotel at Tysons Corner, Virginia. Eddie booked the whole restaurant that evening for just the two of them. Awesome!

So this was how the story of the day unfold…

Raisa and Michael are another couple that also met through work. However, it’s not the typical place like a corporate office like you might think. They met in the Army.
As you know, if you’re in the military, you will move around a lot. However, they wanted to do the engagement photo session in Maryland, because it is where they met, became friends, and fell in love.
They finally picked Brookside Gardens to do the pre-wedding pictures.

Kelly was a senior from Kent Island High School. She loved to play volleyball and even supported the school’s volleyball team. Kelly also loved almost anything that had to do with water sports like swimming, boating, tubing, and crabbing… oh wait…
Well anyway, Kelly wanted to do the senior photo session months ago. Unfortunately, it was just about a couple of months away from her graduation, and of course all seniors were really busy at the time. Still, she really wanted to do the photo session and have her pictures at this stage of her life immortalized. So we did the session in Summer, after everything winded down a bit.
Here are some of my favorites.

Introducing the Skrincosky family.
The Skrincoskys wanted a family portrait before their son got bigger. They wanted to have a memory this stage of their son, of the family, done professionally. So they asked me whether I could do it before summer. Luckily I had a couple of spots left to do their session during this busy wedding season.
We were blessed with a good weather that day. It was a bit hot, but at least it wasn’t raining like the day before. The only problem doing the session on the beach was the bugs. Yes, there were quite a lot of them. But you wouldn’t see it here, and couldn’t tell by looking at these happy pictures if I hadn’t told you.
Well it’s my job to make my clients look great.
Anyway, here are some of my favorites.
