I just love it when I get repeat customers, because it means that they love my work and service.
Helena and Vivian’s mother have been using my service for candid children and family lifestyle portraiture three times since 2009. Check out the previous children portrait session at Maryland Eastern Shore from a few years back and also the family reunion and birthday party lifestyle photography also at Maryland Eastern Shore. You can see how much these girls have grown since then.

I sure had fun photographing the family. They love each other as you can see here. They were all so nice and so helpful, always offering what they could do to help me. I felt like I had so many assistants that day.
What a lovely family.
The family photography session was supposed to be done in August, but due to bad weather, the session had to be rescheduled twice! It sure was worth the wait though. We had gorgeous weather because it was not hot.
Later in the day, we saw that a storm cloud was coming our way. However, for some reason it just passed away without trickling a single drop of water. Then later on after the photo session, we realized that it had rained elsewhere even in other parts of Edgewater, Maryland, but not where we were. I heard that it rained so hard that people at the Annapolis Mall movie theater could hear the pouring rain hitting the roof! We felt so blessed!

Introducing the Skrincosky family.
The Skrincoskys wanted a family portrait before their son got bigger. They wanted to have a memory this stage of their son, of the family, done professionally. So they asked me whether I could do it before summer. Luckily I had a couple of spots left to do their session during this busy wedding season.
We were blessed with a good weather that day. It was a bit hot, but at least it wasn’t raining like the day before. The only problem doing the session on the beach was the bugs. Yes, there were quite a lot of them. But you wouldn’t see it here, and couldn’t tell by looking at these happy pictures if I hadn’t told you.
Well it’s my job to make my clients look great.
Anyway, here are some of my favorites.

Sam’s Mom wanted a picture of her daughter, Sam, and Sam’s half sister, Jackie with summer outfits. She wanted the children photo session before the leaves turned color. Well, it was officially already Fall about two weeks ago. But guess what. She got her wish! The weather became hot again that day for the photo shoot. If I remember correctly the temperature was in the low 90s or upper 80s.
Here are some of my favorites from the photo session.
Here is Sam…

and here is Jackie…

I get a sudden last minute influx of clients wanting to do all kinds of photo sessions for this September and October for wedding, engagement, children, commercial, and family. I’ve been so overwhelmed, but it’s all good of course.
Anyway, here’s a candid family session of the Norris family at Eastern Shore, Maryland, Kent Island.
I’ve known them for a while because my son and theirs go to the same school and like to play together.

The Riggins family would be the first family in my neighborhood or even my community that asked me to have their family portrait done professionally. They’re also the first family to ask me to do a maternity session. I’m happy and honored that they trusted me to do this.
So here are some of my favorite images from the session we did at Kent Island, Maryland.

I got a last minute call from a family whom I photographed the past summer (same year). They wanted me to do another session on Tilghman Island, but just the children this time. They wanted the pictures for Christmas.
Unfortunately, they could only do it on the same day where I already had two sessions! However, the first session with Adele the book writer, was very early in the morning, and the engagement session would be late in the afternoon. So I was able to squeeze in another session for that day later in the morning, which works pretty well for all of us.

I knew Renee way back when we used to work for one company. We had lost contact until about a year ago we met again through Facebook. Thank you Facebook!
Renee saw my photography work and became interested in having her family and her brother’s family photographed for Christmas cards and for themselves.
She wanted to do the photo session in fall to get the warm foliage colors. So I suggested that we do it at Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis.
We had to postpone from the original scheduled date due to the weather. We were lucky that we finally got a great weather and still had some fall colors. This was early November last year.
Here is my most favorite shot from the session because it shows the children’s characters, their unique expressions.

I got this shot after they became more comfortable with me and trusted me.
It wasn’t easy during the first few minutes though.

Late October last year, one of my friend asked me if I could take pictures of her children for comp cards. I said, “Sure!”
It was supposed to be in mid October but it rained that weekend, so we decided to postpone it to the next weekend.
We were lucky that the next weekend we got a good weather. Our prayers were answered!
The session was supposed to be at Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis, but for some reason there was a traffic backup at the Bay Bridge. Not sure what happened. I couldn’ get through and we’re running out of daylight. Fortunately, Heidy was kind enough to offer herself to drive to Kent Island. I found this small picnic park with a pond. We were lucky to get some fall colored trees as well.
Anyway, here’s Eva.

And… here’s Chris.
