After Jennifer and Ryan’s engagement photo session at Kent Island with nautical theme, I finally had the honor to document their beautiful wedding at Silver Swan Bayside, on Kent Island, Maryland.
We were also lucky to get a gorgeous weather although a bit warm.
Let’s go back to the beginning of the day.
Here was the direction sign that Jennifer’s father, John, made.
Crab mallets for wedding favors. 🙂
You may recall from the engagement session that Jennifer and Ryan loves to eat crabs.
I love how they thought about this. Their program was printed on seed papers. It could be planted in the soil and it would grow flowers!
This rack for the seat assignment cards was also do-it-yourself. Notice that they use a fishing net in the back.
Below is the sweetheart table.
In the background, they put wedding pictures of their parent, grandparents, and great grandparents. What a cute idea!
The bride’s beautiful dress from Kleinfeld, New York.
The bride’s awesome boots for the wedding.
Jennifer’s sisters looking out the window looking at the guests coming.
They guys are done, so they took the chance to do some groom party photo session.
Let’s go back to the girls.
The bridesmaids are now helping Jennifer to do get ready.
Hooking the wedding dress buttons is one of the most difficult and tedious thing to do. Good thing they had a crochet hook and a father who was always ready to help.
Mother of the bride’s awesome bracelet.
Bride’s mother and sister admiring the bride. 🙂
The bride’s mother, Teresa, admiring how beautiful her daughters look. 🙂
One last moment of the bride and her father before she walked down the isle.
Here’s the flower girl!
On their way to the ceremony!
Here comes the groom, best man, groomsmen, and the officiant, Michael Feehley, OC.
When the groom, Ryan, saw Jennifer the first time in her wedding dress, I overheard him saying, “Oh, she looks really beautiful.”
Ryan even said this several times. 🙂
Beautiful calla lily flower bouquets from Rippel’s Florist.
And now you may kiss the bride! 🙂
Confetti’s were thrown up in the air as the bride, groom, and the whole wedding party walk out! 🙂
More awesome do-it-yourself decorations by the father of the bride. I think the burlap with the mason jars is a great idea.
The delicious hors d’oeuvres
The bride, the maid of honor, and the bridesmaids. 🙂
Four pretty sisters! 🙂
Then finally the bride, groom, and wedding party was introduced by the DJ.
The bride and groom’s first dance as a husband and wife.
Speeches by the best man…
and the matron of honor.
The beautiful and delicious cake from Peace of Cake.
Since they love crabs, of course crab cakes should be on the menu. 🙂
Cutting the cake!
Father of the bride and daughter dance.
Next was Mother of the groom and son dance.
Then the dance floor is open for everyone to dance. 🙂
Bouquet toss and garter toss time! 🙂
Jennifer, Kaitlyn, Kelsey, Taylor, and Teresa sang their favorite song. 🙂
Next it was the boys turn to sing. 🙂
I think we have a new boy band here. 🙂
The DJ of the night, DJ Mattie Fresh!
Everyone gets to light and play with sparklers that night.
After the reception they’re all picked up by a shuttle to go to The Jettys for an after party.
Congratulations Jennifer and Ryan!
May you live happily ever after! 🙂
