Our way of socializing has sure changed in the past 10-20 years. Internet has become major medium for our social life. Friends and families can stay connected online, and it’s especially helpful for those that live relatively far from each other. For others, it is a way for getting to know new friends. For some, it is a way to find someone who will be your soul mate. I’ve had few couples that met online. Lili and Nigel are one of them. I would say, they are one of the few lucky ones that could connect and go forward with their relationship.
Lili and Nigel wanted to do the engagement session during the cherry blossoms in Washington DC while they were at their peak. They originally wanted to do the pre-wedding session at the Tidal Basin. However, looking at all of the thousands of tourists there, well… let’s just say it wasn’t a good idea… 🙂
So I tried to find different spots nearby that aren’t too crowded. It wasn’t easy and it was still crowded, but patience was the key. In the end, we got the pictures that we wanted. 🙂
